Daysworth International is known for its industry focus, focusing on its commitment to customers as well as its employees. In March 2019, Mark Mifsud a leading technician celebrated his 30th anniversary at Daysworth International.
Mark began at Daysworth International as a 17-year-old and fondly remembers the 80’s, an era during which the white and blue chassis Diamond Reo’s were being readily assembled.
Over the last 30 years, Mark has particularly enjoyed being involved in many of Daysworth unique projects. Mark specifically noted a Military project with Meritor Axles. This was a project during which military trucks would be tested with land mines and explosives on a live site; Daysworth’s task was to rebuild axles from the blasted vehicles to salvage and reconstruct axles to introduce back into the range.
“No matter what the challenge is we work as a team to get the job done. I take pride in seeing strong trucks being built from start to finish”, said Mark.
Mark was also heavily involved in the special purpose HT180 terminal tractors, built for Australia and New Zealand’s leading transport companies.
Today Mark’s work is as varied and interesting as it ever was with the re-introduction of Diamond Reo road trucks and
the continuity in specialised Terminal tractors for the Australian and Pacific markets.
Mark looks forward to many more years in Daysworth’s dynamic workshop working on our end to end our special projects.
